German Clean Water Technology Lab is developing a novel advanced oxidation process (AOP) based on hydrodynamic cavitation for the removal of hardly degradable micropollutants (e.g. PFAS, pesticides, pharmaceuticals) for which existing treatment alternatives are insufficient.
