France has been a steadfast supporter of Ukraine since the outset of the Russian conflict, providing continual assistance and solidarity. The backing from France and French companies has been palpable, with Business France playing a crucial role in this support. Business France's partnership with the ReBuild Ukraine exhibition and conference dates back to its inception, marking a pivotal moment in Ukraine's reconstruction efforts. This collaboration underscores the enduring commitment to Ukraine's recovery and growth, reflecting the strength of international solidarity in times of crisis.

During the first event, Mr. Pierre Heilbronn, appointed as Special Envoy of the President of France for Ukraine's Relief and Reconstruction, graced the occasion with his presence. Following Ukraine's President's initiative, France announced its commitment to Chernihiv and certain communities in the Kyiv region, actively implementing recovery projects in these areas. Under the leadership of its director, Romain Desthieux and with the deducted support of all team, Business France has tirelessly pursued opportunities for French businesses in Ukraine, even amid the conflict. Remarkably, over 20 companies expressed interest in fostering relations during the second edition of ReBuild Ukraine. Despite air raid alarms, French companies demonstrated their dedication by traveling to Kyiv to engage in negotiations with both Ukrainian institutions and private businesses, emphasizing the resilience and determination of both nations in the face of adversity.

Next week, the ReBuild Ukraine conference, supported by Business France, will take place within the framework of the construction exhibition Intermat in Paris. This event promises to bolster relations between Ukrainian communities and businesses with their French counterparts. Looking ahead, French businesses can anticipate two more events: ReBuild Ukraine: Health and Rehabilitation in June, and ReBuild Ukraine: Construction and Energy in November, both of which enjoy the support of Business France.

With its consistent backing and partnership, Business France has proven itself to be a reliable ally for Ukraine, facilitating valuable connections and collaborations between the two nations.
